Wear plate

We stock wear plate specially developed for loader buckets, excavators, flatbeds and crushers. We mainly stock HB500 and HB450 wear plate from Swedish Swebor steel. Swebor wear plate has very high wear resistance, very good weldability and good toughness.

General information about wear plate

The term "HB", such as HB500, is a commonly used abbreviation of "Hardness Brinell". It is actually a hardness test according to the Brinell method. Today, it has become the generally accepted term for classifying wear steels. There are a number of different brands of wear steel on the market, such as Hardox, Swebor, RAEX, Dillidur, Miilux, Fora, Bruxite, etc.
