Variations
Carbide plough blade developed for tractor and wheel loader ploughing on white roads. Levels the surface in a similar way to traditional perforated blades, but does not create slush and lasts much longer. In most conditions, it provides much better economy than standard steel plough blades. Taurus’ unique design provides maximum cooling without compromising strength. Equipped with double hole spacing to withstand use on the heaviest ploughs without the bolts breaking (note: the additional holes in the steel holder are drilled midway between the existing holes with cc305 mm spacing).
The blades are mounted with the shield facing forward in the ploughing direction. With carbide blades, you do not need to interrupt ploughing or grading to check and adjust the blades. The wear distance is short, but the service life is very long. With carbide blades, you get less damage to the steel holders, more efficient operation and lower total costs.
TAURUS is available in lengths 605 (2 ft), 692, 792, 915 (3 ft), 991, 1220 (4 ft) and 1525 (5 ft). Mounted with KH M16 road blade bolts and M16 flange lock nuts.
