LHD is a heavy rock tooth with an wear plate for loaders that has a lot of wear parts and stays sharp for a long time. The offset underside with extra wear material reduces wear on the wear plate. This tooth is usually used in conjunction with segments between the teeth. LHD is also angled and adapted for use with a loader adapter that has an angled nose (standard model of type Cat J loader adapter)
