Kodiaq – the toughest carbide cutting edges on the market for tractor and wheel loader plowing on unpaved roads
Kodiaq carbide cutting edges are specifically developed for tractor and wheel loader plowing on unpaved roads and engineered to withstand extremely demanding winter conditions. These carbide plow cutting edges offer significantly higher resistance to vibration and impact than standard carbide edges, and in most cases provide a clearly better overall economy compared to traditional steel cutting edges.
With Kodiaq carbide cutting edges, there is no need to interrupt plowing or grading to inspect or adjust the edges. The wear rate is low while the service life is exceptionally long, resulting in more efficient operation, reduced wear on blade holders, and lower total operating costs.
Features and benefits
- Kodiaq carbide cutting edges – the toughest solution on the market for unpaved roads.
- Significantly higher resistance to vibration and impact than standard carbide edges.
- Levels surfaces without smearing, providing a cleaner and more even plowing result.
- Long service life and improved economy compared to standard steel edges, thanks to fewer stops and reduced maintenance.
- Reduces wear on blade holders and enables more efficient operation with lower overall costs.
Installation and hole pattern
Kodiaq edges feature a dual hole pattern designed to handle operation on the heaviest plows without bolt failure. Additional holes in the blade holder are positioned between the existing ones with c/c 305 mm.
The edges are installed with the shield facing forward in the plowing direction, and must be mounted with the toothed side facing the blade holder/mounting plate. Standard hole spacing is c/c 305 mm.
